Becoming an expert in a chosen field of study takes a lot of energy and much training. A doctor, for example, spends an enormous amount of time in school preparing for the days ahead to help serve people effectively. Eventually, when it’s all done, he is trained to serve people in a great way! Well, the same is true for God’s people. In order for God to use His people the way He wants to, they need to go through various trials designed to prepare them. In other words, God is training them for greatness.
